Here is another Old Fashioned Favorite, Slow Cooker Swiss Steak. So I try and use my crock pot for any recipes that require slow cooking for a long period of time
And I firmly believe that the only way to caramelize pulled pork without compromising the incredible moisture that you get from slowcooked meats is to pan fry it

)I slowcooked the pork with a whole onion (chopped in half), and when I made the coleslaw dressing I added half of the onion (that at this point is super soft and has juices from the pork and liquid) to the coleslaw dressing, but if you decide to make this dressing but not the pork to go with it, just OMIT the onion, or you can add a little bit of raw onion, but I wouldn't add an entire half of a raw onion

Roast lamb is my favourite roast ever particularly when really slowcooked. 25 x 1. 5kg Lamb shoulder. 250ml balsamic vinegar. 5 – 4 hours. Remove the lamb and wrap in foil, leave to rest 15 minutes
Put the chopped onions and garlic in the slow cooker. Take out of the slow cooker cover to keep warm. Pour this mixture back into the crockpot and cook on low for 5 minutes or until the sauce has thickened
Rub this mixture all over the pork and put it in your slow cooker. Crisp up the carnitas. Add it to the slow cooker and pour the orange juice over the pork as well
Although we used beef ribs, which are full of meat and so tender when cookedslowly, this dish had a wonderful taste and even when full you can't stop wondering whether you could fit in some more
