Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain flour (all purpose flour)
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ⅓ - ½ cup water
  • 250 g (approx 2½ cups) grated paneer (cottage cheese)
  • ½ cup boiled or steamed fresh peas
  • ½ cup chopped fresh coriander (cilantro, dhania)
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
  • ¼ tsp asafoetida (hing)
  • 1 tsp green chilli paste (or 3-4 finely chopped chillis)
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • ¼ tsp clove powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp sugar (optional)
