Since the potato and curry here already absorb the rich flavours of the curry paste, I decided that the peas could retain their lovely bright green (instead of turning into a pale olive green when slow cooked) and most importantly, retain their natural sweetness

Serve with roti/naan or any flat bread. Potatoes is one of the fondest vegetable by all age groups and this dry curry with green peas along with it make an excellent combo
If you are deep frying the tikkis, then dip them in a thin batter made with all purpose flour/ maida and roll them in bread crumbs and then do, otherwise the patties might break when you drop them into the oil

Aloo Matar/ PotatoPeas Curry, the most common dish on a restaurant or party menu, can be both a dry curry or a gravy one and also there are so many versions of it
