Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked mashed toor dal ( pigeon peas)
  • 1 medium size tomato finely chopped.
  • 2 tbsp freshly grated coconut
  • 3-4 Kokum petals
  • 3 green chillies finely slit
  • salt as needed
  • Some chopped coriander leaves.
  • Some curry leaves.
  • Pinch of asafoetida powder.
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds for tempering.
  • 1 tbsp powdered jaggery
  • Pinch of turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp oil
