Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup methi leaves
  • 1/2 cup
  • 35-40 min
  • 400 gms Ayala Fish (Indian Mackerel) - cleaned & cut into 2-3 pieces
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp sambar powder or red chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped coconut
  • 1/2 tsp cumin / jeera seeds
  • 1/2 tsp black peppercorn
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 3 stick curry leaves
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds / saunf
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil / gingelly oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1 small tomato - chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder or more if needed
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped methi leaves (vendayam keerai / fenugreek leaves)
  • salt to taste
