  • 3/4 cup ruby port
  • 1/2 cup dried tart red cherries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 lb hot Italian sausage

  • 1 medium onion, chopped (1/4 cup)
  • 5 oz fresh baby spinach
