  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • ½ cup (packed) light brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups mashed very ripe bananas (about 4 large or 6 medium)
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • 12 ounces chocolate chips (1 bag)

  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 10 ounces peanut butter chips (1 bag)
  • 16 tablespoons (2 sticks) salted butter
  • 5 to 6 cups confectioner's sugar
