Ingredients

  • 20 mins Cooking time: 45 mins
  • 200 gms plain flour / maida
  • 250 gms unsalted butter
  • 2 tsps Double action baking powder
  • 200 gms castor sugar
  • 4 eggs 60 ml fresh milk (original recipe says 60 ml, but I use 80 ml milk since my eggs are small)
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 ½ tsps. Vanilla essence
