Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 thumb size ginger, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 3 celery stalks, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter (salted or unsalted)
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sri racha sauce (add an extra tbsp if you like it spicy)
  • 1 tbsp sake *optional
  • A handful fresh flat leaf parsley, chopped
