Ingredients

  • 1 hour (If you need to make and mash potatoes, half the time if you use leftover mashed potatoes)
  • 2.5 pounds of ground meat (I used pork) beef, lamb a combination are all OK.
  • 2.5 pounds of mashed potato (about 4 large Russet Potatoes)
  • 1/2 cup of minced onion
  • 1/4 cup of minced fresh flat parsley
  • 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of salt and pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of coriander
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon (a dash) of nutmeg
  • 1 cup approximately of plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 - 3 eggs for beaten
  • butter and vegetable oil for frying
