Ingredients

  • 1 12 ounce bottle of beer
  • 1 cup of all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • additional salt and pepper to season the fish
  • 1 teaspoon smoked cumin
  • 1 pound of cod (or fish or your own choosing), cut into 2" pieces
  • canola oil for frying
  • 4 avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 lime, zested then juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1-2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 2 tomatoes, seeded and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon smoked cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 8 flour tortillas
