I have never made such an extravagant cake but it was worth it. I ended up making everything two days before and assembling it the night before my daughter’s birthday

The whole thing is smothered in the best cream cheese frosting I’ve ever tasted. A little ambitious, maybe, for having never even made a layer cake before
