This 'Kala Chana' or the Indian Chickpea salad features pretty often. This can be made with the Kabuli Chana (Garbanzo/ Chickpea) too, but I find the earthiness of the Kala Chana (Indian Chickpea/ Brown Chickpea) a lot more enticing
