of Southern Living. I may be a Midwest gal, but I dream of someday being a Southern Belle with porches wrapped around my small cottage! These bars are light, buttery with just a touch of bourbon. I made these for B’s graduation dinner last year, and knew that they would become a lifelong friend in my recipe collection.

You can make this anytime you find frozen fruit (or canned peaches for that matter) on sale. After eating handfuls plucked off the vine, I still looked forward to eating more - cooked to perfection in Mom's blackberrycobbler
It was a perfect reminder that summer is right around the corner and to compliment our dinner I made an amazing, yet very easy, cobbler with our favourite fruits of the summer season – strawberries and peaches
