Cook time 1 hour Total time 1 hour 20 mins Blackberry Pie Bars Author: Steffani Serves: 16 Ingredients Crust and topping 3 cups all-purpose flour 1½ cups sugar ¼ teaspoon salt 1½ cups chilled butter, cut into cubes Filling 4 large eggs 2 cups sugar 1 cup sour cream ¾ cup all-purpose flour pinch of salt 6 cups fresh blackberries Instructions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine all the ingredients for the crust and topping. Mix until the mixture looks crumbly. Save back 1½ cups of the mixture and pressing the rest into the bottom of your prepared pan. Bake for 12-15 mins and then let cool for 10 mins In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and then add the rest of the ingredients for the filling except the blackberries. Fold in the blackberries last. Pour filling over the cooled crust being careful to have an even layer of blackberries. Sprinkle reserved crust/topping mixture over the top. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Cool for at least one hour before serving. Eat! (preferably with ice cream!) 3.2.1311
I made these Apple PieBars for our Halloween party this past Saturday. Because I was pressed for time and making lots of other food I chose to buy pre-made pie dough but if you'd like you can obviously make your dough from scratch
Start with the blackberry puree. Use a spoon to dollop the blackberry puree all over the cheesecake. You want to be able to see the white cheesecake on top, not just blackberry

To celebrate, I’ve made a yummy Cherry PieBars recipe that I’m so excited to share. A cookie crust is layered with tart cherry pie filling and topped with more crust and a sweet glaze
Press pie crust into bottom of pan to fit. 2 In large bowl, mix 5 cups diced Granny Smith apples, 2/3 cup packed brown sugar, 2 teaspoons apple pie spice and 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. 3 Unroll crusts from 1 box Pillsbury™ refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on box, on work surface. 4 Spread apple mixture evenly over pie crust. Scatter 2 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small pieces, over apples
