It's a lovely warm weekend in Philadelphia which immediately made me think of sangria. Sangria is originally an inexpensive alcoholic beverage, kind of like a punch, so feel free to use whatever white wine you have on hand
Start with the blackberry puree. Use a spoon to dollop the blackberry puree all over the cheesecake. You want to be able to see the white cheesecake on top, not just blackberry
This sangria jelly recipe is great as a spread on toast or used in a variety of dessert recipes. Dave and I are excited to unveil the Christmas gifts that we put together for our family and friends
Pork chops, meet blackberry sage pan sauce. For this particular pan sauce I combined blackberry jam, rich and tangy balsamic vinegar, a little butter for richness, and dried sage
In a small pot make the blackberry simple syrup. In a shaker add the liquors, blackberry simple syrup, and sweet and sour mix shake to combine - set to the side
This round I went with a basic macaron with a blackberry buttercream. I had some blackberry compote in the freezer left over from the orange blossom cheesecake
Blackberry Cobbler is warm, sugary, tart and fruity. I am sorry but they are just begging to be rescued from that green plastic basket and put into a scrumptious Blackberry Cobbler
