  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted, for garnish
