Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 11 tablespoons unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup bourbon whiskey
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt well.
  • Mix in the egg slightly.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and chill in fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  • I baked with the tart pan on top of a baking sheet for 55 minutes.
