Ingredients

  • 1 whole dried ancho chiles and soak it in 1 cup of water for 2 hours Place the ancho chile and soaking water in a small sauce pot over low heat.
  • 155 degrees Sausage is usually cured with salt, nitrites or nitrates. Plain ground meats and uncured sausage should be cooked to 155 for adults and 160 for children to prevent e coli exposure.
  • 2 thick slices of French Bread. (Trim the crust off of the bread, if the crust has a chewy texture. If it is a wide loaf of French bread, then just cut 1 thick slice, then cut the slice of bread in half.)
  • 1 egg Cook the egg sunny side up, with a minimal amount of browning.
