Ingredients

  • 3 -4 lbs pork, for carnitas
  • 2 (7 ounce) cans diced green chilies
  • 1 (6 ounce) bottle louisiana style hot sauce (like Frank's)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 jalapenos, diced
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 8 cups white hominy, drained
  • 8 cups chicken broth
