Chickenand Quinoa MacandCheese. I used leftover cooked chickenand substituted the feta cheese for Boursin cheese because that was what I had in the fridge at the time
Growing up my Mom used to make chicken kiev every once and awhile. As we got older, everybody grew to not like this dinner all that much and she hasn’t made it in years
Transfer to prepared baking dish, cover, and refrigerate at least 6 hours (or up to 24 hours). If you have the time, I like to pull the dish out of the refrigerator and allow it to sit on the counter and come to room temperature for about 30-60 minutes before I put it in the oven. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 1 hour (or until pasta is tender andchicken is cooked through)
Just think, instead of negating the benefits of eating healthy veggies like broccoliand cauliflower by smothering them with fatty, high calorie cheese sauce, you can now double the benefits by smothering them with even more healthful veggies that just look and taste like cheese sauce
And don’t you forget about the crispy fragrant fried chicken, and classic macandcheese. I went to the store with a few things on my mind, smoked ham hocks, and turkey necks, and of course collards, fresh chicken thighs, wings, and a game plan
