Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Remove from the oven and gently press the top of the cookie down with the back of a utensil or even use your fingers
In large bowl, beat butter with sugar until fluffy. In separate bowl, whisk together rolled oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt - stir into butter mixture until combined
