  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped, toasted pecans
  • 1 tsp salt (if using unsalted butter)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup butter, chilled

  • 4-6 apples, thinly sliced
  • 1 - 1 1/2 cups caramel sauce*
  • 2- 8 oz block cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla
