  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 3 eggs 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 12 ounces (1 1/2 packages) cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 5 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons meringue powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup toasted pecans
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt
