Ingredients

  • 2 or
  • ½ cup moong dal
  • 2 tbsp of
  • Pinch of turmeric powder
  • 2 dry red chillies
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • ½ tsp of
  • split udad dal
  • ½ tsp of
  • chana dal
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp of rice flour
  • Pinch of Asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp fresh grated coconut
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 dry red chilli
  • 4. I do the other way on a stove top
  • 1 or
  • 2 red chillies
  • ½ tsp of cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • ½ tsp chana dal
  • 2. If you do not wish to use coconut in the gravy by grinding etc, simply roast
  • 3. We do not use onions and garlic in this dish, I leave it to your personal choice.
