Well this past weekend I decided to test out a different pumpkin dessert recipe, something simple but unique – Pumpkin Muffins with Cream Cheese Filling and Cinnamon Pecan Topping
These muffins are loaded with cheese, cottage cheese and sausage and are a delicious easy breakfast that can be served hot or cold (however hot is the best)
Spoon into greased or paper-lined muffin cups. Bake in centre of 375°F (190°C) oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until tops are firm to the touch and muffins are golden
What nicer way to wake up to fresh Strawberry cream cheesemuffins. Cream Cheese Mixture. Muffin Mix. Top it with a teaspoonful of cheese mixture, a teaspoons more of muffin batter to cover it, and finally a more strawberries
I find all the hype over Starbucks’ pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin muffins with cream cheese filling a little amusing, because to be honest, I’ve never tried either one so I suppose I don’t know what I’m missing out on, or if all the hoopla is really worth it
