My favorite is SweetPotatoCasserole. You can’t have Thanksgiving without something sweetpotato. Once it’s all mixed together, pour this into a casserole dish
Sweetpotato (butternut squash would be a good substitute) - peeled and cut into chunks. Inspired by the most recent Jamie Oliver SuperFoods series and the fact that the weather is starting to cool and become quite autumnal, this comforting casserole was born
Place sweetpotatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Transfer to prepared casserole dish. Add butter to sweetpotatoes and use a potato masher, or two forks, to mash
Grate about a quarter of the cheese over the potatoes. Stack potato slices in uneven layers (to resemble flower petals) in prepared muffin tin, ending with some of the smaller pieces
Well for me it's my favorite SweetPotatoCasserole, creamy dreamy sweetpotatoes whipped up with sugar, sweet milk, butter, eggs, spices and topped off with a crunchy cinnamon pecan topping
Scoop the potato and squash out of the skins, combine them, and mash until smooth. Preheat oven to 375° and cut the sweetpotatoes in half. 2 large sweetpotatoes
This is why I decided for this post to make a classic Thanksgiving side dish - sweetpotatocasserole and perhaps share it with our host family this year
Spoon sweetpotato mix into the casserole dish and top with the Maple Pecan topping. While sweetpotato is boiling or right before, mix all the ingredients for the maple pecan topping together and set aside until needed
