  • 200 gms Chenna
  • 100 gms chopped onion, tomato
  • 1 ts salt, ginger, jeera,
  • 1 cup scraped coconut, i bunch coriander leaves


    1. First soak the chenna, for 6 hours and bake it with salt.
    2. In a mixer grinder add all ingredients and grind it into smooth paste.
    3. In a frying pan add cooking oil, add the grinded paste and add water, allow to boil with baked chenna dal
    4, Add coriander leaves to the dish. Thus the gravy is ready to taste.
    5. Ideal with Naan, chappathi.
