  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¾ cup / 170 grams butter
  • 1 cup / 240 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup (170 grams) pitted cherries, drained from compote
  • 1 cup (240 ml) juice from compote
  • 1/3 cup (80 g) sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
