Ingredients

  • 200 gms Chicken with bones - washed & cut
  • 10-12 small onions (sambar vengayam) - chopped
  • 2 small tomatoes - finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp gingelly oil (sesame seeds oil / nalla ennai)
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp fennel seeds (saunf)
  • 2 cloves 1/2 cinnamon stick
  • 10 curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander
  • 3 dry red chilies
  • 4-5 black peppercorns (or) 1 tsp pepper powder
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds (or) cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds (or) 1 tsp chicken masala
