  • 10 mins Total time 10 mins A chocolate over night pudding with oats and chia seeds. The raw cacao adds a rich chocolate taste which is balanced nicely with the sweetness from the stevia and maple syrup. The combination of milk and yoghurt with the soaked oats makes for a creamy texture. : Treat Yourself Sweeter Recipe type: Breakfast, snack Serves: 1 Ingredients ¼ cup (25 grams) rolled oats (see note below) ½ cup (140 grams) low fat (no added sugar) plain yoghurt
  • 125 ml low fat milk ½ teaspoon maple syrup 10 grams raw cacao (or to taste) 1 teaspoon liquid stevia *can substitute for another sweetener 1 tablespoon (10 grams) chia seeds Instructions If using rolled oats, roughly chop using a blender on the pulse setting or by placing in a bag and lightly hitting or rolling with a rolling pin. Place the yoghurt, milk, maple syrup, cacao and stevia in a small to medium bowl and mix until well combined and smooth. Add the oats and chia seeds and mix well. Adjust mixture to suit your taste by adding more cacao or sweeten with maple syrup/stevia. Place in an airtight jar or a covered bowl and place in the fridge overnight, or at least for a couple of hours. Serve with fresh fruit, raw almonds (or nuts of your choice) and toasted coconut. 3.2.1311
