Ingredients

  • Ingredients (for 4 people)
  • 8 good size chicken drumsticks, bone in and skin on
  • 50 gr. dried mushrooms of your choice, roughly chopped
  • 500 gr. of small white mushrooms, cut in halves
  • 1/4 cup Mavrodafni wine (or other red sweet wine)
  • 2 yellow onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary, only the leaves
  • 4-5 fresh sage leaves (or ½ tsp of dried)
  • 1 glass of red dry wine
  • 2-3 tbsp of finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 tbsp of tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 tbsp of unsalted butter
  • salt
  • pepper
