  • 4 tbsp butter 4 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced ½ cup cold water 2 tbsp lemon juice 3 tsp cornstarch ½ cup brown sugar ½ tsp cinnamon Instructions In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter Add the lemon juice and sliced apples. Sauté for 5 to 7 minutes while stirring constantly until the apples are almost tender. Dissolve the cornstarch in water and slowly add to apples. Stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon. Bring to a boil and cook for another 2 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat and serve warm with the salad and pot pie. 3.3.3077
