Ingredients

  • 40 minutes
  • 11/2 cups all pupose flour
  • 11/2 cups of whole wheat flour (I used generic atta, other whole wheat blends might have a coarser texture)
  • 2 teaspoons rapid rise yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 11/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup lukewarm water
  • Cornmeal for rolling the dough
  • 3 tablespoons yogurt
  • 2 tomatoes 2 pods garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fenugreek
  • 1 tablespoon tandoori masala
  • 1 inch piece of peeled ginger
  • 2 green chilies
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 large bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup freshly chopped spinach, kale or fenugreek
  • 3/4 cup cheddar (this is what I had on hand)
  • Extra cilantro to garnish
