Ingredients

  • 1 cup
  • Green chillies
  • Tomatoes
  • o cubes
  • Sambar powder
  • 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder
  • ¼ tsp
  • Mustard seeds
  • ½ tsp
  • Cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp
  • Black pepper corns
  • Curry leaves
  • Oil
  • 2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Cilantro
  • 3 tbsp finely chopped
  • Wash
  • dal
  • 15 min Pressure cook dal with
  • 2 ½ cups of water and
  • ¼ cup of water to the tamarind and squeeze to get the extract, filter it
  • ½ cup water, salt, sambar powder and let it boil for
  • 5 min After that add the tamarind extract and let it boil for another
