Ingredients

  • Cake
  • 3 and 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, cut into chunks
  • 14 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 6 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 and 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 9 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 and 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Directions
  • Bake the cakes: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Generously grease and line three 9" or 10" cake pans and set aside.
