Ingredients

  • Chocolate Cake
  • 5 cups adapted from Smitten Kitchen
  • 6 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 4 1/2 cups icing sugar (no need to sift)
  • 3 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 6 tbsp half-and-half or whole milk (I used low-fat)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
