  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar

  • 12 oz pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 cup pecans or walnuts, toasted & chopped (optional)
  • 14 oz pkg. caramels (unwrapped)
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
