  • 24 cm cakes

  • 120 g. cacoa (without sugar)
  • 210 g. all purpose flour
  • 250 g. sugar
  • 1 & 1/2 tspn b.soda
  • 3/4 tspn baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 250 ml buttermilk (make your own: 250ml milk + 1 tablespoon lemon juice, leave to stand for 10 min)
  • 180 ml lukewarm water
  • 3 tablespoons oil (I used olive oil)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
