Ingredients

  • 1/2 way through that I didn't have a few things. 1. Cake flour 2. Buttermilk and 3. Red food coloring. Humf. So, as usual I googled and improvised. I'll explain as we go.
  • vanilla
  • Baking soda
  • 5 minutes Meanwhile work on the Cream Cheese Glaze. Omg. Add cream cheese and vanilla to a bowl.
  •  
  • For the Donuts
  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar + 2 tablespoons
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk + 1 tablespoon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled
