then I have used the butter cream icing to sandwich the two layers of cake together but you could use cream or even mince meat, or a simple chocolate ganache would work superbly or try a marmalade ganache as I have done here
mini chocolate eggs. For the Cakes. 150g/ 1 cup / 5 oz whitechocolate – finely chopped. Peppermint extract – I used 2 tsp but this may vary depending on brand so start with 1 tsp and taste before adding more
The layers were very, very, very rich and fudgy and moist, the whitechocolate cream cheese frosting was amazing, and finally, the layer of homemade strawberry jam made it divine
To celebrate the day, I made this vanilla sponge cakefilledwith homemade raspberry preserve & whitechocolate ganache and lastly topped it with vanilla buttercream
Filledwithwhitechocolate whipped cream, topped with rich chocolate glaze and Oreo cookies. If you like, you can also drizzle the layerswith some of the chocolate glaze as well
Apply as thick or thin layer you like. Now using the piping bag filledwith sour cream filling make small flowers on the sides of the cake & some simple boundary at the bottom
Since there's nothing that I could make for the two of them that had too much chocolate, I settled on a combination of dark chocolatecupcakes, filledwith a raspberry sauce and topped withwhitechocolate ganache
Turn first layer of cake on platter. Place second layer on top. I love the combination of lemon and blueberry, and the whitechocolate and cream cheese complement it perfectly
