Ingredients

  • 12-16 brownies
  • For the Brownies: 1½ oz unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1½ oz bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1½ sticks unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 ⅓ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee or espresso powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 16 peanut butter cups
  • For the Frosting: ½ stick unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1-2 tablespoons of milk
  • Pinch of fine salt
  • 2-2½ cups powdered sugar
