Ingredients

  • 1 c butter or margarine (I used butter)
  • 2 c packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 t vanilla
  • 2-1/2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1 t salt
  • 3 c oatmeal (I used quick-cooking rolled oats)
  • 15 oz sweetened condensed milk (my can was 14 oz.)
  • 12- oz. package chocolate chips (I used semi-sweet)
  • 2 T butter
  • 1/2 t vanilla
