1 cup
melted butter 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 cup granulated sugar ½ cup brown sugar 4 eggs, room temperature 1 cup all-purpose flour ½ tsp. baking soda Pinch of salt 2 tsp vanilla ½ cup mint chocolate chips Topping: ½ batch of Swiss meringue buttercream or your favourite frosting Food colouring Crushed candy cane (optional) Christmas sprinkles (optional) Instructions Preheat oven to 350F. Grease an 8 inch square pan. Set aside. In a stand mixer, add the butter, cocoa, sugars, and vanilla. Add one egg a time, mixing well between each. Sift together the flour, soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Pour into stand mixer and add chocolate chips, mixing until JUST combined. Pour the batter into greased pan and smooth out nicely. Place into oven and bake for about 40 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely. Turn out brownies. If the brownies stay intact, add desired coloured frostings into separate piping bags and cut off tip. Alternate colours across the brownies (see link in post for step-by-step photos.) Don't worry about neatness. Once completed, use a large, flat spatula to gently drag across the brownies to smooth out the colours and create a flat pattern. If brownies break coming out of pan, you can do the brownies individually. 3.5.3208
This would be apt for this christmas season. Rohith enjoyed these brownies to the core. Take a bowl and place the butter, chocolate chips and coffee powder
This would make a great Christmas cake by using red food coloring instead of the green. I made Slow Cooker Honey Mustard Corned Beef, Slow Cooker Cabbage, Irish Potato Cakes, Traditional Irish Soda Bread, Green Punch, and Irish Cream Brownies
Christmas is slowly but surely approaching. Chocolate cakes have always been my soft spot. Of course nothing is complete without some Santa and Christmas tree toppers
Peppermint Marshmallow Brownies from From Gate to Plate. We are on day five of Christmas Week and what better way to celebrate than with a batch of Chocolate Orange Oatmeal Cookies
Cranberry Sauce Brownies from Chung-Ah of Damn Delicious. Full of maraschino cherries, white chocolate, and macadamia nuts, it really stood out as a stellar Christmas cookie
Our freezer is always stocked with a half gallon of mint ice cream and around Christmas my mom makes these amazing chocolate mint cookies that everyone we know craves
