Ingredients

  • Sourdough Starter
  • 1 ounce/1 tablespoon of unfed sourdough starter
  • 5 ounces water, about room temperature
  • 5 ounces flour
  • All of the starter from above
  • 7 ounces water
  • 16 ounces flour
  • 1.25 ounces dry milk powder (substitute milk for the water and eliminate milk powder if not using)
  • 2.5 ounces sugar
  • .3 ounces salt
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons softened butter
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • ¾ cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1½ - 2 tablespoons milk
