In the past, my homemadedinnerrolls have always turned out okay, but not very impressive. After testing more than a few batches, I have a new go-to recipe for dinnerrolls. You know how some moms spend one day – all day – in the kitchen preparing tons of freezer meals or doing all the prep work for the entire month in that one sitting
When you need that perfect crusty dinner roll, give these a try- you won't be sorry. Additionally, when pinched for time I have shaped the rolls after the first rotate/fold/rise and still got fabulous rolls
Mix until combined. Roll into balls. 11/4 c. milk plus 1 to 2 extra Tbsp. 1/4 c. 1 egg. 1/4 c. 3 1/2 to 4 c. 1 tsp. 1 Tbsp. Combine milk, butter, potato flakes, egg, sugar, salt and 3 1/2 c. Knead for 6 to 8 minutes or until smooth and springy. Place in a greased bowl and let rise until doubled - about 1 hour. Separate into16 pieces. Put in a greased 9 x 13" pan. Rise until doubled - about 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. 11/4 c milk. 1 t. 1/4 c butter. 1 egg. 1/4 c sugar. 3 1/2 t. 1 tsp salt. 1 T. 8 minutes. 20 minutes
I have never baked dinnerrolls from scratch before so I wanted to see if I can do it since I made some tomato soup that day and I want some freshly baked dinnerrolls to eat with it
