Ingredients

  • 2-3 more onions to the chicken

  • ⅓ cup soy sauce (I used gluten free)
  • 3 Tbsp pomegranate red wine vinegar
  • ⅓ cup oil
  • 2 medium onions, sliced and separated
  • 4 Tbsp honey
  • 2 cups arborio rice
  • 2 cups vanilla almond or coconut milk
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp ground tumeric
  • 1 whole star anise pod
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • salt to taste
