I've been looking to make some form of Shepard's Pie for a while now but kept putting it off. Then I was looking for a hearty comfort food to make for lunch and dinner for the next few days and decided it was time to give this recipe a try
Very few of our main meals contain gluten but I am now having to adapt the one’s that do, something we often eat in our house is cottagepie and I used to use brown sauce and worcester sauce in it but they both contain gluten
Traditionally cottage and shepherd's pie are ideal recipes for using up leftover beef or lamb that is then minced, but you won't need an excuse like leftovers to make this dish with store-bought freshly ground beef
Coffee cake, Swedish Tea Ring, white bread, pancakes, penuche, Spanish tomato rice (a really tasty rice dish), puddings, pies, roasts, as well as sections on meal planning and ingredient substitutions were the basis of my culinary education
On coming back I immediately took out my "baking tools" and went to work on my Mulberry Pie, which by the way, I was dying to make ever since I set eyes on those luscious, gorgeous mulberries
