Ingredients

  • 18 large bun fillings
  • 10 g custard powder
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 410 g (1 can) cream corn
  • 375 g (1 can) evaporated milk
  • 60 g corn flour
  • Makes 16 small buns or 12 large buns
  • 350 g all purpose flour (preferably bleached and low protein)
  • 1 tsp double action baking powder
  • 200 ml water, lukewarm
  • 40 g caster sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (I used rice bran)
