Return blended soup back to the pot and add the broccoli florets and cooked chicken. This soup is perfectly light on the stomach as well as satisfying and best enjoyed on cold fall/winter days
Top with roasted cashews, steamed broccoli florets, parsley, white sesame seeds, soy yogurt… . When tho soup is done, add cashew cream and use the immersion blender to puree the soup completely (or you can transfer this mixture into a blender and blend until smooth)
In the body of a high power blender, food processor, stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, or in a large bowl using a hand held mixer, beat the softened cream cheese and Greekyogurt until smooth
Add chicken broth, broccoli and seasonings. Simmer until broccoli is softened, about 8 minutes. In a large saucepan, cook butter, onion and carrots over medium heat until onion softens (about 3 minutes)
Puree the soupwith a hand blender or in a food processor or blender and enjoy. Mix in the milk, cheese and mustard, let the cheese melt and season with salt and pepper to taste
Soups pair well with salads, freshly baked bread, and grilled cheese sandwiches. It's great for those busy days when you have to work all day, are busy with the kids or have other activities to attend to
There's something so sneaky about greekyogurt - it's so multifaceted, and with that trait, can be used equally in savory dishes, as well as in our favorite sweet treats
This asparagus soup is so light and flavorful (and creamy even though there is no butter or cream) the crusty bread and rich melty egg are the ideal cherry on top, taking it to the full-face-in-bowl enjoyment level
Fill the bowl with the desired soup. (For the record, we've already had a few days of triple digits this year - it's crazy considering some of y'all have had snow in *MAY* - what is up with the weird weather anyways
Yup, for some of you the meaning of fun would be riding on a roller coaster, but my kinda fun is eating soup out of a bowl of bread and trying to eat the bread too at the same time, while making sure that none of the soup was wasted
